Meet Dr. Mama Shani

I’m Dr. Mama Shani—a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Lactation Educator, and champion of empowered bodies and empowered births.

For over a decade, I’ve been obsessed with the gut-brain connection, the wisdom in your menstrual cycle, and how modern bodies carry ancient patterns. From menarche to menopause, from fertility journeys to postpartum healing, I help people like you decode what your body is really saying—then give it what it actually needs.

I’ve traveled to China and Tibet to study with masters and built a practice where 5000-year-old medicine meets modern-day science to get you real, lasting results.

I don’t just teach this stuff—I’ve lived it. I’ve used this work to navigate my own fibroids, painful periods, and miscarriage, and to nurture my body to conceive naturally at 38. Now, I’m raising a little boy who fuels my fire to help others find a better way to heal, conceive, and thrive.

My mission? To walk with you through the tender transitions of your reproductive life, help you feel at home in your body, and make sure you never have to settle for "just dealing with it" again.
